San Diego Comic-Con, one of the city's most popular annual events, is all set to open its gates for the public. It will open on Thursday, July 9, and run through Sunday, July 12.

On July 8, Comic-Con will offer a preview of the 4-day event. But the preview will be open only for industry professionals, media persons and those who have passes for all the four days.

EW's cover movie "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" will likely take center stage at Warner Brothers' presentation. Quentin Tarantino will bring The Hateful Eight; while Fox could bring its in-production X-Men: Apocalypse, in addition to the Hunger Games and Lucasfilm panels.

The event will also present a number of TV shows and series, including Fear not Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Heroes fans, Doctor Who, Fear the Walking Dead and Ash v. Evil Dead.

In addition, there will be a plenty of panels and news regarding popular comics and games.

Recently, some reports suggested that Comic-Con is planning to move out of San Diego but the vent is not departing the city in the foreseeable future. The city has reportedly successfully managed to convince the organizers to keep the event in the city at least through the 2018.
