US President Barack Obama to appear in Bear Grylls' Adventure Show

US President Barack Obama will make an appearance in British adventurer Bear Grylls' TV show. Obama will join a survival expert in exploring the effect of climate change on the environment.

The show titled 'Running Wild with Bear Grylls' will be telecast in the end of the year. The show will also be joined by stars like Channing Tatum, Zac Efron and Michael B Jordan.

NBC officials stated, "President Obama will meet with Grylls while visiting Alaska to observe the effects of climate change on the area. The two will then come together in the Alaskan Wilderness."

The statement further mentioned that President Obama will become the first President of the country to participate in a course on survival techniques on climate in this manner.

The show will have the climate of Alaska in its special focus. The TV show has earlier shown stars like Kate Hudson, Kate Winslet, Zac Efron and Michelle Rodriguez.

Obama has also announced to visit the Arctic Circle. This will be the first such trip to the area by the serving US President. His visit is scheduled for renaming of North America's highest peak from Mount McKinley to Denali, its previous native name.

Denali means 'great one' in Koyukon. It was renamed in 1917, after President William McKinley. The shoot for the TV show will take place over the next two days. However, the episode will be aired later this year.
